Carpenter's Star Quilt Class

Students will be creating a Carpenter's Star quilt.  Cheryl will be expanding on the ways to make half square triangles as demonstrated in January.

Rotary cutter
Quilting ruler (6½" x 24" or similar)
Disappearing ink fabric pen
Straight pins, seam ripper, scissors/snips, sewing clips
Pattern & Fabric (pattern, fabric, and adorably curated kits available in store!)

🪡 Machines
We’ve got shiny new Baby Lock machines on loan from Jackman’s Fabrics for anyone who wants to use one! When registering, let us know if you’re bringing your own machine or using one of ours so we can set the classroom up just right.

⚠️ Important Note
Students should be comfortable using their sewing machine (or one of our classroom machines). We’ll be focused on making the project — not learning basic machine operation.
