Kid's Sewing Class: The Book Nook Pillow

Michele’s back at it again with her classes — and this time she’s bringing the fun to the kiddos! She’s all set for a creative day filled with giggles, fabric, and tiny triumphant “I did it!” moments.

Kids will be stitching up The Book Nook Pillow — a snuggly pillow with a carry handle and a front pocket that’s perfect for tucking in a favorite book. It’s the ultimate cozy sidekick for reading time, road trips, or flopping dramatically onto the couch.

Join Michele (our teacher extraordinaire) for a playful day of stitching and silliness. Her students adore her patience, humor, and magical way of turning “oops” moments into learning victories. Expect a moo-velous time! 🐮✨

Disappearing ink fabric pen
Straight pins, seam ripper, scissors/snips, sewing clips

Main (front pocket): 1/2 yd
Accent (accent pocket): 1/2 yd

🪡 Machines
We’ve got shiny new Baby Lock machines on loan from Jackman’s Fabrics for anyone who wants to use one! When registering, let us know if you’re bringing your own machine or using one of ours so we can set the classroom up just right.

⚠️ Important Note
Kids should be comfortable using their sewing machine (or one of our classroom machines). We’ll be focused on making the project — not learning basic machine operation.
