Show Me Waves Quilt Class

🎉 Start the New Year with Creativity! 

Join us as Linda Aldridge leads us through this exciting pattern, Show Me Waves, created by a new local designer.  There is an additional variation offered, Show Me Around, and both are available in three sizes.  This is a confident beginner friendly class and with Linda’s direction, you will quickly be chain piecing your units.  In our first class we will have a short discussion on fabric selections.  Fabric color/value is key to the successful illusion of curves.  We will show several panels and corresponding fabrics that would work well and allow time for you to shop and select your own fabrics.  While you may elect to bring fabrics/panels from home, we want to ensure the end illusion is created, so you may need to augment.

• Medium to large cutting mat for week 1 (some available in class)

• Rotary cutter with new blade, scissors

• Quilting rulers (6x24) and (8x8)

• Straight pins/binding clips of choice

• 12-15 quartsize sandwich bags helpful

• Sewing machine weeks 2-4 (some available in class)

• Quilt sized batting/sheet/felt week 4
